We are building an open source learning management platform as an alternative to recurring subscription billing, where you only pay for what you learn.

The use case: Every user gets 5 horses of video streaming free per month. At the start of each new month, the free credits reset to 5 hours. When the free credits are used up, the user has the option to purchase more viewing time. Currently this is set to $1 for 1 hour of streaming, billed by the second. So you will only really pay for what you learn.
